Security Manager for Cash Solution

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, improving, and managing security strategies and standards. The primary objective is to ensure greater risk control and operational consistency, establishing a safe and secure environment through prevention, detection, and response strategy to deter or reduce criminal attacks/losses against the company's physical assets, staff, and customers. This role also conducts and manages investigations relating to losses, robberies, and fraudulent activity.

Your major responsibilities would be:

1. Security Strategy, Implementation, and Mandatory Security Principles (MSPs) Compliance

• Lead and drive the security activities of the Company, ensuring they are executed in accordance with G4S Mandatory Security Principles (MSPs), enabling business plan objectives to be achieved.
• Follow-up on outstanding security measures in order to comply with the MSP audits.
• Review, develop, and implement security strategies in line with the company business plan.

2. Security Audits and Physical Asset Management

• Conduct and manage scheduled and unscheduled security reviews to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Proactively conduct thorough security reviews and threat risk assessments, ensuring sound security practices and measures are applied.
• Oversee all aspects of security, including, but not limited to, alarms, access control, CCTV, police liaison, perimeter control, fraud, and internal involvement.
• Conduct surprise and regular audits on cash in vaults.

3. Investigation and Loss Management

• Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in managing critical daily security responsibilities, including fraud investigation, collections/recovery, robbery response, and employee theft investigation, in accordance with the G4S Mandatory Security Principles.
• Manage the confidential handling of employee theft or embezzlement situations to ensure appropriate disciplinary and/or legal action

4. Leadership, Training, and Administration

• Provide assistance and guidance to Security Compliance Auditors, Branch Managers, and Branch Security officers regarding upgrading of security and compliance to procedure.
• Lead the process for the identification and transfer of best security practice within the Company.
• Allocate resources appropriately to meet operational demands.
• Ensure teams are fully vetted, trained, developed, and supported.

Your profile:

• University degree in Security Management, Business, or related field required
• A minimum of 5 years relevant Security Management experience. 10+ years of related experience in cash service companies, bank operations, audit, investigation, law enforcement or related field
• Demonstrated experience with regard to implementation measures to mitigate risk and associated audits
• Knowledge of Criminal/civil law and Security Management. Strong administrative background, with specific reference to investigations and associated paperwork
• Ability to handle conflict and make decisions under difficult circumstances
• Willingness to travel within the Country as required
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
• Computer skills (advanced Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
