Senior Accountant (Accounting & Controlling)

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, an internationally recognized technology company operating a fast-growing digital platform across multiple markets, we are seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team as a Senior Accountant (Accounting & Controlling).

Key Responsibilities

Accounting

• Take ownership of core accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance as the business continues to grow.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting processes.
• Monitor and apply local tax and accounting regulations, making sure processes remain aligned in an evolving environment.
• Deliver statutory financial statements and support VAT reporting with a strong focus on quality and deadlines.
• Lead and streamline the annual external audit process, coordinating deliverables and acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
• Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with tax authorities and key external stakeholders.
• Drive the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of accounting policies and procedures in line with local requirements and group frameworks.

Controlling & Financial Analysis

• Actively support the Controlling function through financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accounting data accurately supports management reporting and business decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting quality.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial controls and internal procedures.

Your Profile

• 4+ years of experience in accounting within a multinational business environment.
• Experience with statutory reporting, audits, and financial closing processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Navision, Pantheon, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of local accounting regulations, taxation, and IFRS.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in controlling.
