As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services, supporting international entities, driving process improvements, and contributing to the ongoing transformation and centralization of finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex accounting activities and postings in accordance with accounting principles and standards, with the objective of controlling the organization’s financial resources and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Ensures accurate and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  Prepares and analyzes financial information for the purpose of preparation of financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Ensures that financial records are maintained in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  Investigates and resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Develops, updates, and maintains financial databases, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and archives.
• Prepares documentation for financial audits and acts as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participates in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures, prepares supporting documentation, and actively contributes to the definition of accounting rules and workflows.
• Actively contributes to the improvement of financial practices, process optimization, and overall organizational efficiency.
• Participates in complex projects and provides guidance on financial matters.
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced members of the finance team.

Skills & Experience

• University degree (Level VI–VII) in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices, IFRS and local GAAP.
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong Proficiency in MS Office, SAP is an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude, ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
