Senior Accounts Receivable Associate

For our client, an international company establishing a new Shared Service Center in Serbia, Workforce is currently building a team of professionals for several positions within the finance function. This is a new, international SSC system that will support the company's global functions and consolidate finance processes for multiple business units across the region. Work is organized under a hybrid model, combining office-based work with work from home. Senior Accounts Receivable Associate

Main Duties:

• Process customer invoices and monitor incoming payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Controlling, HR, IT)
• Contribute to documentation and standardization of AR procedures
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AR transactions

Education

• Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration
• Mentor less experienced colleagues in the team
• Work in SAP S/4 HANA
• Coordination of task distribution among members of the team
• Contributing to the harmonization of AR processes across countries of EU

Work Experience and Skills:

• 3+ years experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting
• Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus
• Proficient in SAP or similiar platforms
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
