On behalf of our client, a successful international company, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position: Senior Advisor Media and External Communications

Main responsibilities:

• Leading, managing, and executing communications strategies to support activities, campaigns, services and spokespeople across the team to meet business objectives.
• Developing, managing, and executing media relations and social media content campaign strategies.
• Developing communications collateral including media releases, newsletters, podcasts, videos, and social media.
• Media Liaison: responding to media inquiries promptly, arranging interviews, brief spokespeople
• Coordinating with the global Media Relations team’s development and strategic use of social media channels, to support the organization’s media engagement strategy.
• Supporting senior Media Relations colleagues in their role as media spokespeople.
• Researching and preparing materials including media briefs and presentations.
• Monitoring traditional media including identification and tracking of trends.
• Managing co-operation with the PR agencies and other external communication contacts.
• Proactively proposing ways of increasing brand visibility and enhancing the company's reputation.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or similar.
• Excellent writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear and engaging content.
• Ability to work with limited direction and oversight

Experience:

• 5 years+ of professional experience in a similar role.
• Substantial experience in media relations campaigns and digital communications strategy and execution.
