In digital TV, we create software for devices like set-top boxes and smart TVs. We work on development and enhancements of TV software components, including Android TV, Linux and RDK, to provide customizable experiences for OTT and Hybrid. Our solutions range from basic zappers to high-end Android TV, deployed over 40 million times worldwide. Collaborating with leaders like Google, we work with major manufacturers (MTK, AMLogic, Synaptics, Broadcom) and TV brands (Sony, Sharp) as well as telco operators (Bouygues Telecom, NTT).

Your role would include:

Software development for Android based devices
Designing sessions and code reviews
Prioritizing quality and seeking out improvements in all aspects of the software projects
Working as a member of agile development team composed of application designers and Android system engineers
Maintaining keen awareness of competitor products and development direction to help direct designs to surpass the competition

Requirements:

University degree in computer technology or computer science
Senior experience in Java and Kotlin
Knowledge of OOP and design patterns
Knowldge of Jetpack Compose, Courotines, Flow
Orientation towards team work
Initiative in solving daily tasks
A desire to solve complex technical problems and to see your work appreciated by users around the world
Ability to cooperate with stakeholders, both internal and external

Preferred skills and knowledge:

Extensive knowledge and experience in Android application development
Knowledge of working with version control system: Git and Gerrit
Experience in Jira/Confluence
Experience with Agile software development practices (preferably Scrum)
