Senior Applications Architect

DPM Metals Inc. is a Canadian-based, international mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, mining, and processing of precious metals properties. DPM operates across Bulgaria, Bosnia, Serbia and Ecuador with headquarters in Toronto, Canada.

For the needs of our Operations department in Belgrade, we are currently looking to recruit a candidate for the Senior Applications Architect position in our local subsidiary DPM AVALA d.o.o. Beograd.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Applications Architect to join our IT team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of application integration solutions using the Boomi platform. You will play a pivotal role in connecting applications, systems, and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation across our organization. Your expertise in integration tools and technologies will drive operational efficiency and enhance our ability to deliver exceptional business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams, stakeholders and users to analyze requirements and design efficient and scalable integration solutions using the Boomi platform.
• Develop, implement, and maintain integration processes, utilizing Boomi’s library of connectors, runtime management and process reporting and other relevant tools.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, and validation routines to ensure accurate and consistent data movement.
• Create, configure, deploy and monitor Boomi processes to connect various applications, databases and systems.
• Provide production support including monitoring, identification, and resolution of integration issues, follow incident and change procedures, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted data flow.
• Utilization of different end system API’s for seamless integration of data from internal and external connected systems including SAP SF oData V2, Maximo NextGen API, Dynamics 365 Web API, ServiceNow API and various specialist mining software API’s.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, architects, and business users to translate requirements into design and build, provide technical insights, test, deliver, monitor and support integration solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and supportability.
• Continuously assess and optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. 
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, industry standards, and company procedures by following secure handling and retention practices, completing required training, and promptly reporting potential non‑compliance .

Qualifications

• Proven experience (3+ yrs) in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using the Boomi platform, or similar integration platform such as MuleSoft or Informatica.
• Proficiency in integration process building, data mapping, and data transformation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges.
• Strong understanding of API's, RESTful services, web services, and other integration technologies.
• Experience working with and manipulating XML/JSON, and flat file documents using JavaScript, Groovy script, and/or Java. 
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Proficient in clear, efficient SQL and GraphQL queries.
• Certifications in Boomi (Integration Developer) preferred.
• Mining industry technology experience is preferred but not essential.
