ABOUT THE ROLE

Gecić Law, one of Southeast Europe's foremost full-service law firms and winner of The Lawyer European Awards, is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join our Belgrade team. In this role, you will handle sophisticated legal work with growing autonomy, support partners and counsel on high-value client matters, and actively contribute to the development of younger team members in a fast-paced, internationally oriented environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently handle complex legal research, drafting, and advisory work
• Support partners and counsel on high-value client mandates
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal submissions
• Assist in supervising and coaching junior associates
• Participate in client meetings, due diligence processes, and negotiations
• Contribute to articles, seminars, and thought leadership initiatives
• Actively contribute to practice development, client relationship management, and business development initiatives
• Stay current with legal developments in your area of expertise

REQUIREMENTS

• Bar admission in Serbia; LL.M. is considered a strong advantage
• 3–6 years of experience in a corporate law firm setting
• Solid expertise in one or more of the firm's practice areas
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
