Job title: Senior Buyer/Strategic Purchasing Specialist (Mechanical Components) (m/f/d)

Location: Serbia - Čačak

Your responsibilities encompass:

• Preparation of documentation for RFQs and purchase orders, supplier selection, and tender management
• Technical evaluation of suppliers in cooperation with other departments
• Ensuring documentation for purchase order creation in SAP
• Negotiation of terms and conditions with suppliers
• Review of contractual agreements in cooperation with Legal and internal stakeholders
• Preparation of reports for assigned commodity/projects
• Cross-functional collaboration across the company
• Occasional international travel

Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing
• Knowledge of metallurgy / materials engineering
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Extensive experience in sourcing mechanical components internationally
• Communicative level of English is neccessary
• Strong technical and analytical thinking
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Understanding of cost breakdowns including savings calculations
• Strong communication skills
