Senior Controller

You bring clarity to cost. As Senior Controller, you ensure full transparency across material costs, inventory, and operational performance, turning numbers into insights that drive decisions. You work closely with management, purchasing, and supply chain, challenging assumptions, identifying deviations, and ensuring financial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Ensure transparent, accurate, and timely cost controlling across operations
• Analyze material costs, stock valuation, and cost structures; identify deviations and root causes
• Act as business partner to management, Purchasing, and Supply Chain
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning; track actuals vs. plan and explain variances
• Prepare management-ready reports and provide decision-relevant cost insights
• Maintain and develop costing structures (e.g. overhead rates, valuation logic)
• Contribute to process improvements, ad hoc analyses, and controlling project

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or similar
• Solid experience in cost or operational controlling
• Strong analytical skills with a structured and detail-oriented working style
• Experience with SAP (ideally S/4, SEM-BCS, COPA) and reporting/BI tools
• Ability to translate complex cost topics into clear business insights
• High level of ownership, accuracy, and reliability
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills both in German and English and independent working style
