Senior DevOps Engineer

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and monitoring systems to ensure the reliable delivery and operation of applications. This role combines deep technical expertise with process ownership, enabling development teams to release software faster, more securely, and at scale.

Essential Duties

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Manage and maintain infrastructure to support development and production environments.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams.
• Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management practices.
• Own infrastructure architecture and promote DevOps best practices.
• Ensure the high availability, scalability, and security of all environments.
• Drive the automation of deployments, monitoring, and recovery processes.
• Lead incident response activities and post-mortem reviews.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level DevOps Engineers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Mid-Level or Senior DevOps Engineer role.
• Strong expertise with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity and Bitbucket.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills using languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana.
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring solutions.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
