Senior Drupal Engineer

Your role

Enterprise clients across Europe, the US and Asia. Complex Drupal architectures. An AI-native engineering environment — not as an experiment, but as the way we work.

You'll join us as a senior engineer and technical consultant — someone who builds sophisticated solutions and can sit across the table from a client and defend every decision behind them. You'll work directly with our Head of Technology & Data, solution architects and global client teams. No layers in between.

What you'll do

Engineering

• Build complex Drupal solutions (10/11) for international enterprise clients — custom modules, APIs, headless architectures
• Own code quality: reviews, debugging, performance optimization
• Work with AI-assisted engineering workflows (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) as your daily default — and push them further with us

Consulting & Solution Design

• Be the technical sparring partner our clients call first — architecture, feasibility, technology choices
• Turn business requirements into scalable concepts and estimates that hold
• Run technical workshops and architecture discussions with international client teams
• Represent Davies Meyer with global partners and technology vendors

Collaboration

• Work in international, cross-functional teams across Backend, Frontend, QA and Solution Architecture
• Shape our Drupal best practices — and if you want more technical ownership over time, the door is open

What you bring

• Several years of serious Drupal experience (9/10/11) and strong PHP skills
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor or similar) — this is how we build, and we expect you to already work this way
• Solid command of REST APIs, integrations and Git-based workflows
• Confidence in the room: you explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders without breaking a sweat
• Excellent English
