What is this role in our team?

• This is a Senior Individual Contributor role designed for an experienced professional who understands the pace, discipline, and high accountability of industrial manufacturing.
• You will report directly to the Supply Chain Director, working alongside an existing procurement coordinator who is strictly dedicated to technical procurement.
• You will be expected to get up to speed quickly, pass your 6-month probation successfully, and independently master the raw materials pipeline.

What you’ll be doing:

Your main responsibility will be ensuring 100% on-time delivery of raw materials while maintaining perfect regulatory and inventory compliance. Your daily work will include:

• Owning the operational execution of raw material procurement across domestic and international markets (with a strategic emphasis on China).
• Managing complex international customs clearance, inbound/outbound logistics, and mandatory transport documentation.
• Leading end-to-end RFI and RFQ processes and acting as the core contact for supplier commercial inquiries.
• Guaranteeing that all procurement, shipping, and logistics operations strictly adhere to local/international trade regulations and corporate policies.
• Regularly assisting with physical inventory counts, auditing goods received, and ensuring perfect alignment between physical stock and ERP data.
• Confidently resolving real-time supply chain disruptions and assisting with the selection and onboarding of new freight forwarders.
• Monitoring macroeconomic trends within the global battery sector to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

What we expect:

We are looking for someone who combines meticulous attention to detail with diplomatic assertiveness. It is mandatory that you bring:

• Industry Experience: 3+ years of progressive procurement, logistics, or supply chain experience specifically within the Battery Industry.
• Education: Minimum VI degree of professional qualification in Commercial, Chemical Engineering, or Logistics fields.
• Language Skills: Advanced/Fluent professional proficiency in English and Serbian. Intermediate proficiency in Chinese (capable of handling routine business interactions and supplier communications).
• Technical Mastery: Advanced ERP proficiency, advanced MS Excel skills (data manipulation and inventory planning analytics), Google Workspace, and absolute mastery of Incoterms and global trade documentation.
• Key Competencies: A team player mindset across time zones, resilience under pressure, and a meticulous approach to preventing data errors.
• Nice-to-have skills include professional commercial negotiations, data visualization, and experience with project management frameworks.
