Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining customer applications
• Maintaining applications and services used to manage and monitor our TEST manufacturing system
• Developing strong serial communication code and libraries for RS232 and TCP to interface between our products and our software
• Providing new technology guidance to keep our systems relevant and able to leverage new automation techniques
• Designing robust software and system architectures that are easy to test and use clear patterns and practices.
• Mentoring less experienced software engineering colleagues
• Technologies (Microsoft .NET Framework and the C# language, Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC) and the C++ language, NuGet, Microsoft SQL Server, Git, TeamCity, HTTP, RS232, TCP)

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering
• Experience with designing software architectures on large systems
• Understanding of system orchestration and how to deploy dependent versions across multiple systems in one release
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment while taking ownership of individual responsibilities and projects
• Strong sense of accountability, with the capability to manage priorities and deliver results independently
• Ability to communicate work progress, discuss technical challenges, and contribute to problem-solving discussions within a collaborative team environment
