Senior Web Developer (4 month contract)

Senior Web Developer

The Sr. Web Developer will be responsible for the design and implementation of a new module into the Allyant platform which enables the user to mark up a document for accessibility purposes.

This is a 4 month contract only.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable and reliable software components
• Implement best practices and coding standards for scalable, maintainable, and secure software 
• Maintain high quality, responsiveness and security of applications

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related 
• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Solid technical background, with hands-on experience in software systems design and development 
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS. 
• Experience with React, Redux (RTK), and TypeScript
• Skilled in using JavaScript libraries such as Material UI.
• Skilled with ASP.net and C#.
• Proficiency with database technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL 
• Abreast of software industry trends and best practices

Soft skills:

• Hands-on attitude and willingness to get things done
• Ability to mentor technical team members 
• Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration skills
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English
