The Problem We're Solving Internally
As we grow, we need someone who can hold accounts end-to-end — not just execute tasks but own outcomes. That means delivery, performance, communication, client trust, and results. And it means being involved in the business side — helping scope, pitch, and bring in new clients — not just managing existing ones.
This is an operational role with a commercial edge. Both matter.
What You'll Do
Delivery
- Own client accounts across SEO and LLMO deliverables
- Build and maintain growth plans grounded in data, not assumptions
- Make sure work ships on time and at the right quality
Performance
- Track KPIs and make them the center of every decision
- Run monthly performance reviews — you lead the narrative, explain what's happening, and set the direction
- Catch issues before clients do and come with a diagnosis, not just a flag
Client relationships
- Run weekly or biweekly check-ins with key stakeholders
- Have hard conversations when things aren't working — clearly, directly, with a plan
- Build trust to the point where clients ask what you think, not just what's next
New business
- Support scoping and proposals as we grow
- Contribute to pitches — you understand what clients need and can speak to it
- Manage onboarding so new clients start with momentum, not friction
Internal
- Improve how we work — systems, docs, SOPs, workflows
- Raise the floor for how we deliver across every account

What This Looks Like in Practice
You manage the full lifecycle of each account you own. That includes:
- Delivery
You make sure the work is happening, on time, and at the right quality. You know what's in progress, what's blocked, and what's coming next. You don't wait to be updated — you stay on top of it.
- Performance
You prepare and lead monthly reviews. You come in with the numbers, a clear narrative of what happened and why, and a direction for what comes next. When something isn't working, you say so and you come with a plan, not just a problem.
- Client relationships
You run weekly or biweekly check-ins. You know your clients' businesses well enough to give them genuine strategic input, not just project updates. You earn their trust not by being agreeable, but by being honest and reliable.
- Proactive problem detection
You catch issues before clients do. A traffic drop, a missed deadline, a deliverable that doesn't meet the bar — you see it first, and you handle it before it becomes a conversation you didn't want to have.
- Account growth
When you're doing the job well, opportunities to expand will surface naturally. You recognize them, you're comfortable having the conversation, and you know how to close it. Growing an account is part of this role, not a bonus.
- Internal
When a process is broken or a system is unclear, you fix it. You document it. You leave things better than you found them.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in SEO with 3+ years in account management at an SEO, content, or digital marketing agency — agency side, not in-house. You've personally managed SEO or content delivery for B2B clients and can point to outcomes with real numbers.
- You work independently in GA4, GSC, Ahrefs and Semrush — you don't need a walkthrough to tell what's happening in an account. You understand technical SEO at a working level: crawl errors, indexing issues, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, canonical implementation. You know how to read an audit and prioritize what actually matters.
- You track keyword rankings and competitor moves not because someone asked you to, but because that's how you stay ahead of what's coming for your clients. You've led performance conversations when results were bad and kept the relationship intact.
- CMS experience across WordPress, Webflow, and HubSpot. Familiarity with schema markup and structured data. Understanding of mobile-first indexing. Strong written and verbal English — it will be assessed throughout the process.
- Content strategy: topical authority, search intent, content clusters, BOFU vs. TOFU — not just the terminology, the thinking behind it.
- You understand how AI search works and why it matters for B2B companies right now — you don't need to be an expert, but you need to have a genuine point of view on it.
- You have led performance conversations when results were bad, not just when they were good.
- You are organized. You follow through on what you say you will do. You don't drop things.
- You are direct and kind in equal measure. You can tell a client something they don't want to hear, and do it in a way that keeps the relationship intact.
- Fluent English, written and spoken — your communication will be assessed during the process.
- CET availability — minimum 6h overlap with 9am–6pm, non-negotiable
