Service Supplier Manager

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Service Supplier Manager to oversee external service providers supporting both business and technology functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for the professional management of third-party service suppliers, ensuring strong supplier performance, high service quality, commercial transparency, contractual compliance, and continuous improvement. Acting as a key link between internal stakeholders and external partners, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and effective supplier governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain supplier governance frameworks, including steering committees, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment.
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve supplier KPIs, SLAs, and overall service performance.
• Ensure contractual compliance, cost transparency, invoice validation, and support contract renewals and tender processes.
• Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks while ensuring compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, automation, and sourcing optimization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for supplier escalations and performance-related matters.
• Prepare and present supplier performance reviews and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing external suppliers, outsourced services, or vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of SLA/KPI management, supplier governance, procurement processes, and contract management.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in complex business environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance and commercial data.
• Fluent English language skills; German language skills are considered an advantage.
