We are looking for a Site HR Manager to lead the HR function at our production site in Leskovac. This role goes beyond standard HR operations. It is about partnering closely with site leadership, understanding the realities of a manufacturing environment, and shaping people processes that support both performance and employee experience.
About the site
Our EU-GMP approved production site in Leskovac, with around 300 employees, supports international markets as a CDMO partner through a fully integrated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. With products supplied to more than 40 markets worldwide, the site operates in a highly regulated setting with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the HR function at site level, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Act as a trusted partner to site leadership and managers on organizational design and people-related decisions
- Manage Compensation & Benefits processes, including budgeting, reporting, and workforce planning
- Ensure HR administration processes are in line with local labor law and internal policies
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent handling of workplace topics
- Support manufacturing operations by understanding factory processes and workforce dynamics
- Lead, coach, and develop the local HR team, building capability and ownership
- Actively support and develop key soft HR processes, including performance management, talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and learning initiatives
- Partner with managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, team effectiveness, employee retention, and overall organizational culture
- Ensure compliance with company standards, internal procedures, and quality and regulatory requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of Compensation & Benefits matters, including budgeting and payroll-related processes
- Solid knowledge of HR administration and local labor law
- Experience working with diverse employee groups in operational environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build credible and trusted relationships with managers and peers
- Ability to handle people topics with empathy and business focus
- Proactive and focused on making things work better
- Proven experience in leading and developing HR teams
- High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken
