JOB DESCRIPTION
To be part of our team means to participate in the development process of Continental's software platform for automotive electronic control units, giving application developers a complete hardware abstraction. This platform has been perfected for more than 15 years In Body Control Units, Vehicle Control Units and Instrument Clusters being standardized across these products, having as a goal to minimize development costs, increase reliability and to ensure safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike. You will collaborate with a strong international team and see the impact of your work on streets around the globe.

IN YOUR DAY TO DAY JOB YOU WILL:
- Ensure that the integrated system accomplishes the intended functionality consistent with the software system design and specifications
- Develop and adapt SW modules based on customer requirements
- Evaluate and apply appropriate SW metrics
- Cooperate with the SY Architect
- Support the project management regarding technical questions
- Support problem solving between hardware and software
- Be involved in creating and maintaining the software system design
- May help in selecting the appropriate hardware
- Provide software metrics on SW system level
QUALIFICATIONS
Mandatory:
- University Degree (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science)
- Advanced knowledge of C or C++ programming language (at least 2 years of experience)
- Advanced knowledge of microcontrollers
- Understanding HW schematics and handling of measurement and test equipment
- Fluent in English
Would be a plus:
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR, preferably with Elektrobit tooling
- Knowledge of SW development life cycles
- Automotive experience
- Model based development tools and processes
- Experience with issue tracking and version control tools
