Software Licensing Analyst

We are expanding our team and are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Software Licensing Analyst to provide support to an international client.

The position involves managing software licenses, handling user requests, maintaining records, and providing basic user support related to software usage and compliance. The role includes remote working model, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle and process software license requests in line with established procedures
Check license availability and assign licenses to users, devices, or servers
Maintain and update software lifecycle data in the SAM Pro module of ServiceNow
Analyzing software usage to identify over-licensing or under-licensing
Reconcile data from discovery tools, CMDBs, ERP systems, and vendor portals
Manage the renewal of software maintenance and license contracts for specific vendor(s)
Respond to user inquiries and incidents related to software licenses (1st level support)
Prepare and validate data for audit and compliance activities
Support and document activities during software vendor audits
Ensure all actions are accurately tracked and documented in the SAM Pro module of ServiceNow
Requirements:

·       Fluent in English (spoken and written) – daily communication is in English

·       Hands-on experience with data normalization in MS Excel (reshaping data, removing duplicates, splitting combined data, standardizing text, handling inconsistent formats, summarizing data with PivotTables)

·       Experience in Service Desk support (handling and progressing tickets)

·       Experience with ServiceNow as ITSM tool will be strong advantage

·       Experience with any Software Licensing tools will be strong advantage

·       Basic IT skills 

·       High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·       Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, remote environment
