Software Quality Assurance Team Leader

Position Summary:

Software Quality Assurance Team Leader is a technical leader for the Quality Assurance Team, assisting with technical direction, leadership, and guidance for Quality Assurance methodology, process improvement, testing, and certification efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Managers to understand customer applications and requirements and provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Develop creative ways to find software bugs including functional issues, crashes, internal software errors, resource leaks, ...
• Verification of software fixes to ensure the solution is done right.
• Writing, reviewing, executing test plans, test cases and test procedures

Creation and maintenance of automated test cases:

• Ensure that defects are not introduced into new software maintenance releases
• Provide the tools to assist developers with writing high quality software.

Required knowledge and skills:

• Bachelor's degree or Master degree in a Computer Science related field
• 2+ years of professional experience with QA
• Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
• Selenium
• NUnit
• Web Driver

Other skills / experience that will be an asset:

• Performance and stress testing experience
• Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing practices and tools
