To support our growing international business, we are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Software Support Engineer to join our team in Novi Sad.
Fiscal Solutions is an international IT company that provides our own product - a Cloud-based software solution for fiscalization, highly acclaimed and recognized as one of the best in the market. We also offer consultant services regarding fiscalization laws and regulations in 27 countries worldwide.
Our customers are top Tier 1 retailers such as Deichman, Metro Cash & Carry, Jysk, and Ikea, as well as POS software vendors from all over the world.
The company has over 60 employees in several departments including Development, Sales, Legal, Field & Repair, Marketing, Help Desk, Administration, etc.
What We Are Looking For:
- 2+ years experience in the same and similar role.
- Education: Minimum diploma in applied technical sciences or a related field.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
- Proficient verbal and communication skills in English
- Strong database knowledge (MS SQL)
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise software.
- Proficiency in IT security practices, user access management, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST).
- Ability to document and improve help desk procedures, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
- Strong communication skills for handling escalations and training junior team members.
- Experience working with IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
- Collaboration with IT teams to ensure seamless system performance and security.
Nice to have:
Active Directory experience.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience with network troubleshooting, VPNs, and firewalls.
What You Would Do:
- Monitoring and analyzing daily operations through a central application.
- Reception and analysis of problems reported by email or phone.
- Opening tickets and further management of the incident.
- Investigation of possible reasons for reported problems.
- Communication with the maintenance team to report and get a solution.
- Providing solutions to problems by phone, email, or remote access to clients if allowed.
- Analysis of the recorded incidents and undertaking all needed steps for resolution.
- Remote installations of hotfixes and/or patches produced by the maintenance team.
- Remote installation of new versions.
- Writing documentation for different processes and regular reporting.
