Sports Department Manager

Role Summary:

Responsible for driving the commercial strategy and growth of the sports betting portfolio, ensuring a competitive and attractive product offering. The role oversees key partnerships, market and performance analysis and the development of new opportunities to support revenue growth. It also works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution, regulatory compliance and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the strategic planning, development and management of commercial activities related to sports betting and related products.
• Monitors market trends and adapts commercial strategies to ensure competitiveness in the market.
• Develops and implements commercial strategies for sports betting products and services, with the aim of increasing revenue.
• Manages negotiations and contracts with sports odds providers, software solution providers and other relevant partners.
• Monitors sports betting performance and analyzes data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of the offering.
• Collaborates with the Marketing team on the development of campaigns and promotions related to sports betting.
• Expands the sports betting product portfolio through innovation and the introduction of new formats (e.g. live betting, microbetting).
• Monitors and analyzes market trends and competitor activity in the sports betting sector.
• Manages the budget for commercial activities and ensures the achievement of financial targets.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with key suppliers and partners in the sports sector.

Qualifications:

• Secondary education of three or four years in Economics, Law, Administration, or another relevant field.
• 5 years of professional experience in the same or similar roles.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
