Supplier Development Engineer

Your tasks as Supplier Development Engineer:
- Performance of quality advance planning within the scope of new customer projects
- Conducting technical discussions before awarding the contract and providing technological support when awarding the contract to suppliers
- Coordination and implementation of national and international strategic supplier development projects
- Coordination with purchasing and the decentralized plant quality departments (worldwide) as well as cooperation with internal supplier management
- Continuous monitoring of the quality performance
Your profile as Supplier Development Engineer:
- Completed technical studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar fields
- Several years of working experience in Production, work preparation, technology planning, technology development, industrialization or quality, preferably in automotive industry
- Training in QM application / as QM auditor or experience with process audits (VDA 6.3) is desirable
- Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects / project teams
- Willingness for international travel, fluent English language skills; German language skills are beneficial
