Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for: SysOps Engineer

We are expanding our newly formed team for a long term project, for our Client in process automation for the logistics domain. If you are a passionate engineer who is focused on Windows servers and competent in scripting, this is a great opportunity to advance in the direction of integration of advanced systems using Infrastructure as a code approach. You would work in a small, highly skilled team, in a friendly and flexible environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that scale with our needs
• Responsible for architecture development, ensuring its resilience and focus on performance
• In charge of automation of operational tasks (Develop scripts and tools that streamline processes, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system performance)
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of HyperV and VMware virtualisation platforms
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of application tools based on vendor software solutions on Windows environment
• Monitoring of Infrastructure and Application servers and setting up the thresholds and alerts
• Quickly resolve issues and minimize impact on end-user productivity and overall organization in collaboration with stakeholders
• Maintaining detailed documentation of system configuration, procedures and incidents for future references
• Participating in meetings with stakeholders for projects setup and deployment

About you

• At least 2 years of working experience in SysOps, System Administration or similar position
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft server and client operating systems with the focus on the GPO and Registry
• Advanced knowledge and usage of VMware and OVA-s
• Scripting language knowledge (ideally PowerShell or Python)
• Knowledge of Dockers, containerD
• R&D mindset: willingness to learn new things, investigate unknown problems and improve existing implementation
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage tasks according to schedule
• Good command of written and spoken English

It would be a plus to have

• Knowledge of Linux systems
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipeline setup and administration
• Basic knowledge of Git and Artifactory
• Basic knowledge of Bamboo and Bitbucket
