Talent Acquisition Lead

Thrive Talent Solutions helps fast-growing US businesses hire exceptional talent from Southeastern Europe. We are expanding our internal team and looking for an experienced, proactive, and independent Talent Acquisition Lead who will play a key role in building teams that drive our client’s growth.

You will work directly and daily with our founding team and our clients, taking ownership of recruitment processes from the initial hiring discussion through to a successful hire while maintaining a high standard of quality. You will understand client needs, shape recruitment strategies, prepare job descriptions and interview frameworks, and work closely with our Recruiters to identify and evaluate exceptional talent.

Responsibilities

Client & Recruitment Strategy

• Work directly with clients to understand their hiring needs, business context, and team dynamics
• Lead recruitment kick-off calls and translate client requirements into clear candidate profiles
• Advise clients on talent availability, compensation expectations, sourcing strategies, and hiring timelines
• Develop an appropriate recruitment strategy for each position
• Manage client expectations and provide regular updates throughout the recruitment process
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and act as a strategic recruitment partner

Recruitment & Candidate Evaluation

• Prepare clear and compelling job descriptions and job advertisements
• Develop structured interview questions and candidate assessment criteria
• Review candidate profiles and shortlists before presenting them to clients
• Provide clients with clear, thoughtful recommendations and candidate insights
• Participate in client-facing candidate interviews
• Support a high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Recruiter Support & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Recruiters to define sourcing strategies and candidate profiles
• Support and guide Recruiters throughout active searches
• Review pipelines and candidate shortlists and provide constructive feedback
• Share best practices and contribute to the development of the recruiting team
• Help ensure consistency and high standards across all recruitment processes

Process & Operations

• Manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously while keeping priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders organized
• Maintain accurate recruitment information and activity in the ATS
• Monitor recruitment progress and identify potential bottlenecks
• Contribute to improving Thrive's recruiting processes, tools, and best practices
• Stay informed about hiring trends and talent market developments across Southeastern Europe

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a similar client-facing hiring role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience working directly with international or US-based Hiring Managers or clients to understand and define hiring needs
• Strong experience recruiting across different seniority levels, from entry-level to C-level positions
• Ability to translate hiring requirements into clear candidate profiles, job descriptions, and interview criteria
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and the ability to advise on the best approach for different roles
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple recruitment processes and client relationships simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience guiding, supporting, or mentoring Recruiters
• Proactive, independent, and comfortable taking ownership of recruitment processes from intake to hire
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Recruiterflow or a similar ATS
• Experience recruiting for SaaS, IT/Tech, Marketing, Sales, Creative, or Operations roles
• Familiarity with compensation benchmarks and talent markets across Southeastern Europe
