IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Ensure tax compliance across VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and local taxes in line with Serbian regulations
• Prepare, review, and submit tax returns and reports accurately and on time, including VAT filings and supporting documentation
• Calculate and report various taxes (e.g., property tax, local fees, WHT), ensuring compliance with relevant authorities
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and tax-related reporting
• Monitor tax legislation changes and ensure their timely implementation
• Communicate with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors, including support during tax audits
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax matters, especially VAT treatment
• Maintain tax records, track liabilities, and ensure timely payments
• Support process improvements and automation within the tax function

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR BACKGROUND:

• Your Background: High school degree in Economics; A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is considered an advantage.
• Your Personality: Analytical thinking and devoted to details, team-player with collaborative approach to team work
• Language Skills: Intermediate knowledge of written and spoken English language
• Tech Savvy: Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
