The Role
We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Technical Architect to join our team. You'll work alongside global teams across a variety of projects — from tech clients to fashion and retail — translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings and plans. Working closely with the Creative Director, 3D architects, and designers, you'll keep everything accurate and true to the design vision from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Generate detailed architectural drawings and specifications based on sketches, renders, 3D models, and schematic drawings of architectural designs
- Collaborate with architects and designers to understand project requirements and design intent
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for local and foreign markets
- Review and revise drawings and plans as necessary to address changes and modifications
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to interpret drawings and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation
- Use 2D CAD drafting software to create and modify technical drawings
- Use text, presentation, and spreadsheet software to compile, generate, and modify design and technical information for projects
- Use layout design software to compile and publish design and technical information for projects
Requirements
- Willing to work in a creative environment, explore and apply innovative solutions, and learn new tools and skills
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar role within the object/furniture/interior design/architecture or construction industries, with more than 3 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D and its interoperability with other CAD software is mandatory
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Proficient in Google Docs suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) or Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Solid understanding of architectural design principles, codes, and construction methods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary
- Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
