EASTCOM CONSULTING DOO BEOGRAD, on behalf of its client, APSOV SEMENTI SpA, a leading Italian company specialized in the production and distribution of certified seeds and agricultural solutions, is looking for a motivated and results-oriented professional for the position of:
Technical Sales Agronomist
The Technical Sales Agronomist will manage and develop the assigned territory by strengthening customer relationships, managing relations with relevant officers in the Ministry of Agriculture identifying business opportunities, implementing commercial strategies, and supporting sales growth.
Key responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Balkan region by promoting and leveraging APSOV's current and future product portfolio.
· Conduct and finalize sales and sales contracts for all products in APSOV portfolio.
· Map the customers network to understand their strategy and crop portfolio.
· Visit potential and existing customers (national and local distributors, retailers, large farmers /opinion leader farmers, seed companies) to promote APOSV’s products and build Brand awareness.
· Set and manage a customer’s database with relevant information to monitor and track their activity.
· Check and monitor financial status of the customers and prospects.
· Handle day by day communication with stakeholders and provide technical advice to customers. Attend important agriculture events, if relevant to establish and/or strengthen relation with existing and potential customers.
· Help to organize and manage field days, field visits, meeting with farmers and with selected groups of stakeholders.
· Help to organize import/export process to Serbia and be supportive to make sure logistics operations are successfully finalized in all the territory.
· Maintain activity records and submit regular reports on commercial activities, field trials and market developments.
Candidate profile:
· University degree in Agronomy, with a mandatory specialization in Vegetable Production, Field Crops, Plant Production, or a related agricultural discipline.
· Proven experience in the seed sector or distribution of agricultural products
· Strong territory and market knowledge, with experience in technical sales, customer management and excellent organizational skills.
· Good command of digital tools (Excel, email and CRM systems)
· Excellent proficiency in English
· Valid Category B driver's license is required
Required skills and competencies:
· Excellent communication skills with a customer- and results-oriented approach
· High level of responsibility, reliability, dynamism and ability to work independently
· Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage assigned activities
· Willingness to travel for business purposes; residence in the assigned area preferred
