Test Tire Engineer

The company Toyo Tire Serbia was established in 2019, construction of a plant started in 2020, with production kicked off in 2022. The company plans to invest 390 million Euros and employ more than 500 employees in Inđija plant. The plant encompasses Tire Test track and the first bifacial and currently the largest Solar Power plant in Serbia which is under construction.

Job description:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and laboratory standards and procedures.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and support internal and external audits in accordance with applicable standards and corporate requirements.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and quality of test results and reports.
• Analyze test data, manage nonconformities, and implement corrective and continuous improvement actions.
• Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, SOPs, and test methods.
• Provide technical support and training to laboratory personnel and other departments.
• Coordinate testing activities with internal teams, customers, and external laboratories.
• Monitor equipment calibration, maintenance, and laboratory KPI performance.

Candidate profile:

• 3+ years in a testing, quality, or laboratory engineering role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment operation, setup, and maintenance.
• Understanding of testing and measurement principles, including calibration and measurement traceability.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and laboratory standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Competence in data analysis, statistical methods (SPC), and structured problem-solving (root-cause analysis, 8D).
• Strong reporting skills and proficiency with Excel and standard office tools.
• Good command of English for technical documentation and communication.

• Experience with test automation, data systems, or reporting tools.
• Exposure to audits, certification, or accreditation processes.
• Knowledge of inspection or measurement technologies relevant to the role.
