Theme Coordinator for Private Sector Development
We are looking for a:
THEME COORDINATOR FOR PRIVATE SECTOR DEVELOPMENT SOUTHWEST SERBIA
(2 positions)
Description
For our client, The Regional Development Agency Zlatibor (www.rrazlatibor.co.rs), we are recruiting 2 persons for position of Theme coordinator for the Private Sector Development Project. One position is temporary (replacement of an employee on maternity leave), and the other is until the end of the project (2017).
Tasks:
- Managing specific area of intervention
- Planning activities in specific sector, including result measuring and strong cooperation with RM advisor
- Strong cooperation with other team coordinators and stakeholders
- Coordination of all project activities
- Data basis creation and updating
- Preparation of monthly activity plan in line with area of intervention
- Generating information on SME sector activities
- Processing of generated information on SME sector activities
- Reporting on processed information on RDA sector activities
- Translation Serbian-English-Serbian when required
We are looking for persons who have experience in:
- working on PS development programs/projects in Serbia - minimum 3 years
- working with firms and SME sector - minimum 3 years (the field of tourism and traditional products is preferable)
- the field of financial management through program and project budgeting
- designing and implementation of results-oriented evaluation processes
- value chains relevant for the tourism and traditional products sectors
- collaboration and building partnerships with local, regional and national institutions and
- her relevant organizations (that are responsible for the development of private
- businesses and SME sector, with particular emphasis on the area of tourism and traditional products)
- creating network (cooperating with line ministries, national institutions and organizations for tourism, local self-governments and other related stakeholders is preferable)
- participation in the implementation on a donor funded programs is preferable
Education:
- University degree in Economy, Tourism or Social studies
Competencies:
- Proficiency in finance and entrepreneurial skills
- Understanding of tourism and traditional products’ market
- Proficiency in Project Cycle Management and Value Chains
- Good application of Results-Based Management
- Excellent in systemic market development approaches, (preferably the Making Markets Work for the Poor (M4P) approach)
- Good facilitation skills
- Ability to establish lasting partnership and substantive dialogue with clients
- Ability to create professional network
- “Out of the box” thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing/reporting and presentation skills in Serbian and English
- Display of cultural, gender, religious, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability and display of integrity by modeling ethical standards
- Excellent IT skills, use of office software packages and handling web-based management systems
- Active driver
- Organizational and planning skills.
Requirements
- Serbian citizenship is required
Remark:
The position is located in the southwestern part of Serbia.
Both positions will be processed in same selection process.
