Who you are

You are passionate about creating a healthy, safe and secure environment for co-workers, customers and visitors. You understand how risk management supports business performance and enjoy working closely with leaders to strengthen a proactive risk-aware culture.

You bring:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Risk & Compliance, Health & Safety, Security or similar areas, ideally within retail, logistics, manufacturing or other operational environments.
• Preferably, at least 2 years of managerial experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Good understanding of risk management, health, safety and security legislation.
• Ideally, licenses in Occupational Health & Safety and Fire Protection.
• Experience in driving compliance, risk prevention and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyse risks, identify root causes and translate KPIs into actions.
• Fluent in Serbian and English, both written and spoken.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

About the job 
Lead and develop a proactive and comprehensive agenda of a healthy working environment, mitigating risks and ensuring that all functions identify, assess and proactively handle risks within the store. Protect co-workers, visitors, external partners, customers and assets from preventable loss, injury or illness, while contributing to a positive working environment for all.

About the assignment

You will:

• Promote risk management across the store and support leaders in developing a risk-aware approach to decision-making and business planning.
• Secure implementation and follow-up of Ingka Rules and local legislation, ensuring a healthy, safe and secure environment for customers, visitors, co-workers and external partners.
• Conduct investigations, analyse processes and data, and identify training and development needs to strengthen compliance and risk awareness.
• Coordinate the Unit Crisis Management Team and ensure preparedness, training and clear ways of working for emergency situations.
• Act as the main point of contact towards authorities and coordinate external vendors to proactively mitigate risks and secure the right resources.
