Vendor Outreach Support

About The Role

Are you a communicative and detail-oriented person who enjoys working with people and is comfortable with phone and email communication? SpendLab is looking for a Vendor Outreach Support to join our international Vendor Outreach team on a part-time basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for contacting suppliers by phone and email to obtain balance statements and ensuring that the received information is accurately processed and followed up in our internal systems. During periods when the Vendor Outreach workload is lighter, you will also support the wider team with light audit and administrative tasks, helping ensure that work is completed efficiently across the organization.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and a proactive approach. 

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers by phone and email to request balance statements.
• Accurately and promptly process supplier responses and update internal systems with the correct follow-up status.
• Review received statements and identify and flag credit amounts and credit notes.
• Assist in creating, compiling, and enriching call lists for outreach campaigns.
• Support CVM tasks and provide administrative support to the team.
• During quieter periods, assist with light audit and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in supplier outreach and data collection processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant experience in a phone-based role, such as collections, customer support, telemarketing, or outreach.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch or another language is a strong advantage.
• Strong telephone and email communication skills.
• Enjoyment of outbound calling and confidence in communicating with suppliers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to prioritize and organize your work during periods of high workload.
• Flexibility in terms of availability and working approach.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and continuously develop your skills.
