WordPress Web Developer (Elementor)

We are currently seeking an experienced and independent WordPress Web Developer (Elementor) to join our team in support of our US-based partner company, Today’s Business. Today’s Business is a digital marketing agency managing multi-channel campaigns and specializing in Social Media Optimization, SEO, SEM, Website Development, Email Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.

As a WordPress Web Developer with strong Elementor experience, you will build, maintain, and improve high-quality websites for the agency’s clients. You will take designs from Figma and turn them into pixel-accurate, responsive WordPress websites using Elementor, while also handling ongoing website updates, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements. You’ll primarily work on websites for medical and healthcare practices, professional-service businesses, home-services companies, service-based brands, and the company's own affiliate and media properties.

Responsibilities:

• Build pixel-accurate, responsive WordPress websites from Figma designs using Elementor
• Translate design files into clean, polished, user-friendly websites that work across desktop, tablet, and mobile
• Build and customize pages and site components using Elementor and Elementor Pro
• Write and maintain custom CSS when needed to achieve precise designs and functionality
• Ensure websites are responsive, visually consistent, fast, and accessible across modern browsers and devices
• Manage WordPress themes, plugins, templates, settings, and updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, Elementor, plugin, layout, styling, and compatibility issues
• Perform ongoing website maintenance and updates
• Work within WP Engine or similar managed WordPress hosting environments, including development, staging, and production sites
• Follow basic Git workflows for theme and code version control
• Assist with website launches, migrations, redirects, DNS, domains, and other technical implementation tasks as needed
• Manage multiple website projects and maintenance requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail

Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of hands-on WordPress web development experience
• Strong, practical experience building websites with Elementor/Elementor Pro
• Strong HTML and CSS skills
• Demonstrated ability to translate Figma designs into accurate, responsive websites
• Solid understanding of WordPress core, themes, plugins, templates, and website configuration
• Experience troubleshooting WordPress and Elementor issues independently
• Experience working with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience working in managed WordPress hosting environments such as WP Engine, including dev/staging/live workflows
• Basic familiarity with Git and version control for WordPress themes/code
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when matching designs and maintaining visual consistency
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintenance requests while staying organized and meeting deadlines
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with custom Elementor widget development
• Working knowledge of JavaScript
• Experience with DNS and domain management, including GoDaddy and Route 53
• Experience setting up or troubleshooting GA4, Google Tag Manager, and WhatConverts
