We are currently seeking an Asset & Maintenance Software Manager  to bolster the performance capabilities of our engineering teams as they develop cutting-edge trains, ranging from urban metros to robust locomotives. 

About the company: Specializing in bespoke rolling stock engineering solutions for sustainability, we focus on elevating the reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics across global railway projects — locomotives, passenger trains, metros, and infrastructure "yellow" machines. With a newly established, state-of-the-art engineering hub in Serbia and Headquartered in Switzerland, we are rolling out projects which are running exclusively across Europe and Asia.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and budgets while working with subject matter experts to develop the end-to-end delivery scope
  • Collaboration with other team members, clients and associates to ensure the best outcomes are achieved and to implement a multi-functional business solution
  • Coordinate with Services Track Leads, management and project managers on functional area requirements, resolving cross-team issues, and ensuring work plan deliverables and tasks are met within deadlines
  • Develop project plans based on needs and requirements of the clients and submit relevant project reports
  • Responsible for issue identification and resolution, status reporting at the team lead level, and scope development/management
  • Utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills while planning, designing, executing and monitoring every aspect of the project
  • Planning, execution and monitoring of one or multiple projects and tasks at a time
  • Work directly with the IT Services on the system issue, timeframes and future improvements and activities
  • Communication with IT specialists responsible for implementing and upgrading system hardware and software
  • QA testing of a new software releases
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution related to software system
  • Creating, developing and establishing protocols and procedures for software usage and ensuring their ease of use for others. Once these standards are developed, providing training to users.
  • Research, procure and manage software applications that will contribute to the success of the company 

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience leading projects with cross-functional and cross-discipline teams across all phases of the project lifecycle and an understanding of key project and/or program delivery methodologies
  • Strong independent thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Broad working knowledge of computer networking, installation, and administration.
  • Experience with database management and project management.
  • Great analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
