Business Support Systems Specialist - Billing


This is back-office operations job in Core and Customer Facing IT Applications Operations area. Back office operation job includes among other activities participation in incident management, process oriented cross-functional work, quality improvement, customer complaint handling.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain availability of Billing Systems
  • Execute and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks
  • Execute all operational tasks (administration, configuration, reporting, monitoring)
  • Customization of BSS/BA interfaces
  • Responsible for design, implementation and testing of new services and features
  • Ensure the highest security level of Business Support Systems and interfaces
  • Participate in development of strategies, recommendations, methodologies of BSS and services; short term planning of upgrades and capacity expansions
  • Co-operate with other parts of the organization on process oriented cross-functional work
  • Take role in implementation of processes, procedures, methods and tools used within Area and Department; maintain and create operational documentation
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of Business Support Systems quality
  • Support CNOC team; participate in on-call service
  • Reporting to Group Manager/Head of Core and Customer Facing IT Applications Operations about all jobs, activities, operational problems and concerns related to work


  • Experience with Oracle DB, SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Ericsson CBiO is an advantage but not required
