As a Compensation Analyst for Snap One, you will assist with ensuring the company offers and maintains competitive and fiscally responsible total compensation to our current and future global employees. You will collect, scrub, and normalize employee data to participate in benchmark salary and/or other total reward related surveys from which organizational decisions can be made. You will market price jobs and through collaboration with our People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leadership teams, you will provide guidance on market data interpretation and best-in-class compensation practice to ensure fair and equitable pay-related treatment. You will administer annual compensation programs and other People Team projects and initiatives as requested. As a Compensation Analyst, you will also partner with the HRIS team to maintain job-related tables, implement process improvements, ensure data quality, and assist with organizational analysis and reporting. Snap One’s Compensation Analyst must be a team player, technically proficient, adaptable, and demonstrate a collaborative attitude.
Specific Responsibilities
- Maintain the company’s standardized job architecture and ensure global labor standard compliance; assist with setting up, configuring, and/or maintaining core HRIS job-related data tables
- Participate in benchmark salary, budget planning, and other various 3rd party total reward surveys
- Market-price jobs in adherence with Snap One’s compensation philosophy
- Prepare trending analysis, financial costing/impact models, and propose strategies for pay structure movement and job grading that aligns with the company’s desired market placement and compensation philosophy
- Collaborate with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business management to research new work roles, assist with preparing compensation offers, perform various forms of impact analysis, and to provide general pay-related guidance while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
- Administer the company’s annual compensation programs (merit, bonus, equity, etc.)
- Prepare various forms of HRIS and/or payroll data load files as required
- Perform HRIS data audits for policy and/or practice compliance
- Gather and analyze workforce analytics; make fiscally responsible recommendations and/or assist with the preparation of accurate leadership presentations
- Perform market research as requested and summarize information from which policies and/or general practice guidelines may be crafted or updated
- Assist with developing and/or presenting training related to compensation programs, policies, philosophy, or new pay-related practices
- Assist with implementing and/or testing HRIS system upgrades, patches, or new functionality as requested
- Participate in cross-functional People Team projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Human Resources or other relevant field with 3+ years of Compensation or related experience
- Advanced MS-Excel proficiency
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to work with various forms of HR technologies
- Proven business acumen, analytical capability, and creative problem-solving
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated virtual collaboration skills with the ability to work independently
