Dispatcher

Duties & responsibilities:

• Daily communication with drivers and finding best loads for them,
• Conduct load picks up, transit, and delivery by following DOT and company high safety standards.
• Negotiating with brokers and clients,
• Build and maintain relationships with freight brokers and customers.
• Building relationships with drivers and brokers,
• Booking loads, collecting paperwork, updating other departments,
• Shipment tracking,
• Solving possible load issues
• Identify current market needs

Required education & experince: 

• Experience proficiency in Excel and MS-Office applications.

• Minimum of 2 years experience as dispatcher

• Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures
• Effective time management and adaptability to changing priorities
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with some direction
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
