The Role

We’re seeking a UI Designer (Figma) to join our team. You’ll be working on our online learning system, companion app, and public-facing website. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives within a well-established design system, quickly absorbs existing style guides, and then iterates thoughtfully to make designs more engaging, accessible, and user-centered.

You’ll have the chance to shape the visual language of our products while ensuring designs are always intuitive, beautiful, and optimized for student experience.

Responsibilities

Design Learning Experiences: Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI in Figma for our learning system, app, and website.
Evolve Our Design System: Adopt our existing design language and expand it with consistent, scalable components and patterns.
Collaborate Closely: Partner with our founders, product manager, developers, and creative team to translate ideas into production-ready designs.
Student-Centered Iteration: Use feedback from learners and stakeholders to refine designs with a laser focus on usability and clarity.
Quality & Consistency: Ensure designs align with accessibility standards, responsive behavior, and our established style.

Qualifications

3–5 years of UI or product design experience, ideally with SaaS, e-learning, or content-rich platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to simplify complex information and create intuitive interfaces.
Expert in Figma; experience with accessibility, responsive design, and component-driven systems.
Clear communication and collaboration skills, with high attention to detail.
Ability to think critically about the why behind design decisions.
