Job Description► Part of cross functional project team for development and industrialization of complete new product on market connected with LiDAR technology ► Deriving the Production process chain and being interface between product and process development team ► Part of product development, ensuring robust design due to lessons learnt from current manufacturing ► Preparation of project status presentations together with your project team, performing project quality gate reviews ► Creating book of burden for new production lines ► Checking and improving the offers from suppliers for assembly lines (Cost, Quality, output) ► Planning and ensuring releases for new products during customer visit ► Mentor and substitute for production engineers: WSA, WSM, ADO or similar Your Targets ► Ensure project timeline and industrialization of new product with internal SOP timing, ensure passed project quality gates ► Ensure successful passed Project Quality gates during Product engineering process (PEP) ► Ensure target cost achieving based on business unit targets | Qualifications► University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or in a comparable field of study ► Relevant working experience (manufacturing engineering, process engineering) at least 2-3 years automotive industry ► Experience in project management, with automotive customers and knowledge in customer processes for automotive components would be considered as an advantage ► Excellent communication and organization skills ► Resilient, intercultural open minded person with a strong energetic “can-do” approach ► Fluency in English, German language knowledge is an advantage |
