We are searching for:

• Proven excellence in manufacturing engineering and process development in the automotive industry.

As a process engineer lead:

• Constantly proposing new ideas for productivity, efficiency increase and quality improvements (Uses Lean tools), and ensuring that all the processes, procedures, operational and work instructions are aligned with company rules
• Introduces, controls and enforces less experienced team members to create required analyses and calculations
• Participation to project technical design review activities with the design team; Responsible for control and verification of proposed calculations and technical solutions
• Participation in CAPEX and operative cost planning with the accent to the industrial equipment
• Proposes ideas for the machine optimization
• Department’s organizational questions discussions, and empowerment of each team member according to performance analyses and actions defined with Engineering Manager
• Operates in accordance with Customer Specific Requirements

Leads one or more projects and:

• Introduces and establishes new projects in the plant
• Creates work instructions “Operation Description Scheme” (ODS)
• Defines and creates layouts for the production cells
• Responsible for the data entered in Trim Process Layer Planner (TPLP)
• Responsible for the machinery preparation and their capacity usage (MUCU)
• Performs training of the operators before the processes in production are changed
• Supports production team in problem solving
• Controls deviations in the production processes, with purpose to reduce waste (non-value added) and scrap
• Performs other job-related activities based on the Engineering Manager’s instructions

Qualifications:

• Technical University Degree with minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, in a similar role (preferred)
• Leadership skills and experience in team management
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent English
