Production Supervisor

to join Modine located in Sremska Mitrovica

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing entire production flow, a diversity of products and processes requiring a healthy portion of flexibility and judgement
• Responsible for the overall organization, results, and division of labor in Building 2
• Organizing work of Shift Leaders in Building 2 and monitoring main KPIs
• Responsible to maintain budgeted targets and operational targets
• Responsible for 5 critical areas: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity Performance, and Production KPIs within given production area
• Continuously challenges the production costs, process and capabilities in order to get the maximum in term of cost, services and flexibility
• Resolving issues by analyzing data, investigation, identifying and recommending solutions
• Analyzing and leading process improvement plans as required
• Creating production working schedule and effective resource allocation
• Preparing reports for Management and directly reports to Plant Manager
• Implementing MOS to improve workplace organization
• Responsible for 5S implementation in production
• Reducing scrap, rework and environment costs
• Collaborating with broad range of internal and external stakeholders for the optimal organization of production
• Takes care of and controls the implementation of health and safety, fire protection at work, and environmental protection - waste management

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Defining job responsibilities, expectations, sets objectives, offers feedback and support to direct reports
• Responsible for evaluating the performance of employees in production
• Coordination of training needs for existing workforce and organizing training of new employees
• Challenging and coaching others to improve their performance
• Following employee’s performance and taking necessary actions
• Creating an environment where employees can perform at their best
• Keeping people informed about matters that affect them and creates room to challenge the present way of doing things
• Developing and training key talents in the organization

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University Degree of Technical or Engineering Sciences
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
• Highly developed knowledge regarding KPIs and people management within production environment
• Experience in ramp up and new projects is a signicifant plus
• Ability to shift between strategic focus and hands-on approach
• Developed leadership, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• Result oriented and target driven
• Advanced computer knowledge
• Fluent English
