Job Description

► First point of contact for Business Units (BU) and divisions

► Interface between BU and Material Field Purchasing (ABxy) for strategic and operative topics

► Manages platform and customer projects from innovation phase until End of Production (EoP)

► In charge of change management for purchased parts and technical cost saving activities (RPP)*

► Represents purchasing up to Executive Board level

► Purchasing for all new projects (Product Engineering Process PEP)

► Responsible for achievement of project goals (costs, quality, deadlines, budget, capacity)

► Participates in Simultaneous Engineering (SE) team, coordinates SE work at the supplier

► Considers series experience / lessons learned in SE

► Responsible for Technical Supplier Discussions (TSD)

► Responsible for preventive quality planning (APQP) activities

► Responsible for purchasing evaluation and review (PR)

► Participates in Project Quality Gates (QG)

► Purchasing for series production until End of Production (EOP)

► Responsible for change management coordination from purchasing sind (ECR)

► Coordinates and drives Ratio Project Planning (RPP) worldwide on purchasing side, participates in RPP teams

► Responsible for achiving localisation targets and integrating the BU - localisation targets into the purchasing strategy

Qualifications

► VI - VII level of degree with technical background / Higher technical education (mechanics, industrial organization) with economic background

► 0 - 3 years of relevant experience

► Persuasion and outstanding communication skills

► Team work orientation

► Perseverance, curiosity to learn, proactive, initiative

► Organization abilities

► Stress resistant

► Strong analytical with great attention to detail and quality.

► English language knowledge both written and spoken, German or Spanish language knowledge is an advantage

► Practical knowledge of standard software IT packages, including MS office and SAP.
