About the team:

The GS/PSD1 (Global Services for Distribution) is globally responsible for warehousing and fine distribution processes. The field of activities includes the whole variety from management of logistic service providers, the design of warehouse managements system solutions, definition of lean and quality standards for warehouses and holistic process optimization. Data analytics is a key factor in this field to drive the improvement processes.

Job Description

► You'll conduct simulation studies
► You'll implement simulation models
► You'll be responsible for development of standard material flow elements for simulation
► You'll be responsible for analysis of simulation results
► You'll be responsible for API integration of sources and results
► You'll be responsible for documentation of results
► You'll be responsible for programming of standalone solutions and extra modules

Qualifications

► Bachelor or Master in related business technology required (Business information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred)
► Understanding of simulation for complex systems
► Fundamental knowledge of MS SQL /or comparable RDBMS
► Knowledge about event based and/or time discrete simulation
► Programming skills in Python and/or Java
► Experience in Tool suite of Anylogic is a plus
► Experience Tecnomatix is plus
► Experience in Logistics is a plus
► Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
► Dedicated to developing clean and maintainable analysis code and ensuring the correctness of the evaluation results
► Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global environment
► Languages: Fluent verbal and written communication in English. German preferred.
