Technical Change Engineer

Job Description

  Technical change representative during planning and validation phases, until final releases.

 Tracking status of engineering change requests (ECR’s) and keeping records up-to-date

 Organizing and leading regular meetings with project teams.

 Presentation of the change request and its quality assurance plan in the regular review meetings.

 Escalation to the Steering Committee if necessary after prior decision of the Review Team.

 Preparation of standardized documentation and processing change requests in ECM Future app.

 Communication with sales and creation of customer presentations.

 Presentation of technical change requests on regular Change Gates.

 Close collaboration with global change coordinator for the purpose of change implementation in different plants.

 KPI follow up and reporting.

Qualifications:

 University degree in industrial/mechanical engineering, organizational sciences or similar (MSc, BSc)

 Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management

 Knowledge of customer processes for automotive components would be considered as an advantage

 English language fluency is mandatory

 German language knowledge is an advantage

 Excellent communication and organizational skills

 Excellent analytical skills

 Independent person with entrepreneurial thinking and acting

 Resilient, interculturally open minded person with strong appearance
