JOB DESCRIPTION
The Account Executive serves as the operational backbone of the account team within a digital marketing agency. This role ensures smooth coordination between the client, Account Manager, and internal teams by keeping all processes organized, precise, and on schedule. An Account Executive bridges strategy and execution: managing communication, timelines, quality, and campaign efficiency. The role contributes to the successful delivery of all client projects on time, within budget, and in line with agency standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the Account Manager in the execution of digital campaigns from briefing to final delivery, coordinating tasks, tracking deadlines, and communicating with all involved teams.
- Assists the Account Manager in developing project plans, task lists, status reports, and tracking overall progress.
- Translates client briefs into clear, actionable tasks for the creative, design, digital, and production teams.
- Collects, verifies, and distributes materials and inputs between the client and internal teams.
- Updates and maintains project management tools to ensure transparent tracking of all tasks and project statuses.
- Checks the quality and accuracy of all deliverables before sharing them with the client or manager.
- Ensures that all client deadlines are met.
- Maintains daily operational communication with clients regarding timelines, materials, approvals, and revisions.
- Sends recap emails after meetings, clearly outlining next steps, responsibilities, and deadlines.
- Preparation of ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as requested by the manager or client
- Supports the preparation of briefs, proposals, invoices and presentations.
- Maintains organized project documentation and archives all files properly on shared drives or platforms.
- Keeps campaign databases and activity calendars up to date.
- Monitors digital marketing trends, competitor activities, and best practices.
- Contributes to brainstorming sessions with proactive ideas and suggestions for process improvement.
- Attends internal meetings, takes notes, and ensures follow-up on all action points.
- Actively contributes to a positive and efficient team culture built on clear communication and collaboration.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as assigned by the employer or direct manager.
