Accountant

As an on-site Accountant in Arandjelovac, Serbia, you will be responsible for the general ledger accounting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience of payment orders creation, posting of bank statements in SAP and bank account reconciliations, maintaining intercompany transaction balances, documenting and storing the internal control documents and supporting the external financial audit.

Responsibilities

• General ledger accounting
• Reconciliation of open items with customers and vendors
• Creation of payment orders, posting bank statements and bank account reconciliations
• Ensure that records and support documentation are maintained and updated regularly and properly for audit purposes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
• Familiarity with computer spreadsheets, software and auto-mated accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
