Accounting Specialist (Trucking Industry)

We need a sharp, organized person to handle the day-to-day money flow. You will work directly with our drivers and office team to make sure everyone gets paid correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities:

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and send accurate invoices to customers for completed services and deliveries.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Check, record, and organize all incoming invoices and customer payments.
• Settlements: Assist with preparing and calculating payments for truck owners and company drivers.
• Cash Flow Management: Help monitor daily cash flow and assist with various financial activities to ensure company liquidity.
• Tax Preparation Support: Prepare and organize financial documents and data required for U.S. tax reporting.
• Record Keeping: Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records and filing systems.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus, but we welcome candidates with no prior experience who are eager to learn.
• Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial processes, payroll concepts, and expense tracking is helpful.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (spreadsheets, data entry, basic formulas).
• Communication: Good written and spoken English skills are required to communicate with drivers and customers.
