Accounts Payable Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented AP Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily accounting operations in a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post accounting documents (purchase invoices, customs documentation, etc.)
• Maintain and reconcile supplier and customs accounts
• Issue outgoing invoices on a weekly basis
• Verify accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Monitor and record expenses, revenues, and other financial transactions
• Support internal and external audits (group audit & statutory audit)
• Prepare and submit financial reports in line with local regulations
• Handle VAT-related documentation (including FTZ declarations)
• Collaborate with internal departments, headquarters, and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, authorities)
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Fluent in English and Serbian (both written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and standard office tools
• Good understanding of accounting principles
