Automation Engineer in Industrialization

We are currently looking for an Automation engineer in industrialization.

REQIREMENTS

• Education: University degree in Mechanical Engineering or another technical field (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in similar positions (preferred in the automotive industry and multinational companies
• Proven experience in the development of local tool and equipment suppliers
• Strong knowledge of technical principles and tools
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in PFMEA
• Knowledge of production automation basics and machine development.
• Tool development and design.
• Design of mechanical parts and elements (CAD)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office
• Languages: Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Coordinating a team of engineers to ensure the execution of assigned tasks.
• Initial training and hands-on machine operation for all production processes (assembly, injection molding, thermoforming, knitting, crimping, air leak testing, etc.).
• Testing pre-series components and validating new processes before serial production (R@R).
• Designing and developing machines, automated systems, and tools in cooperation with suppliers, HSE, and Tooling departments.
• Preparing production processes to guarantee required efficiency and quality, including operator training.
• Standardizing existing processes and developing new ones.
• Conducting risk analyses and feasibility studies for new products and machinery.
• Collaborating with R&D Rivoli on the design and development of new technologies.
• Technical approval of designs and ordering tools/machinery.
• Updating PFMEA for machine assembly.
• Optimizing processes to reduce cycle times, energy consumption, and scrap rates.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring compliance with environmental, energy, and 5S standards.
